Property Inspections

Commercial and Residential

A property inspection is a comprehensive evaluation of a property's condition, designed to identify existing or potential issues. This process typically involves a visual examination of major systems and components, including the roof, foundation, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Inspectors here at Denver Go Pro Inspections meticulously document our findings, noting any defects or areas that require attention or further investigation.

Radon Monitoring

Radon is a radioactive gas that forms naturally when uranium, thorium, or radium, which are radioactive metals break down in rocks, soil and groundwater. People can be exposed to radon primarily from breathing radon in air that comes through cracks and gaps in buildings and homes. Because radon comes naturally from the earth, people are always exposed to it.

Asbestos Testing

Asbestos is a group of naturally occurring mineral fibers known for their durability, heat resistance, and insulating properties, but exposure to asbestos can lead to serious health issues, including cancer.

Microbial Testing

Molds are a natural part of the environment and can be found almost anywhere that moisture and oxygen are present. They belong to the kingdom Fungi and live in moist places such as soil, plants and dead or decaying matter. Outdoors, molds play a part in nature by breaking down dead organic matter such as fallen leaves, dead trees and other debris; however, indoors mold growth should be avoided.

PRV Testing

Post-remediation verification testing is the final, data-driven step to confirm that remediation was successful, the space is safe for reoccupation, and there is documented proof of clearance.

NAWT/CPOW Certified Septic Inspections

These inspections are for property transfers, system functionality and county or homeowner association requirements.

Sewer Scope

A sewer scope inspection is a specialized procedure that uses a borescope camera to examine the interior of your home’s sewer lines. This non-invasive method offers a clear view of potential plumbing issues, such as blockages, leaks, and pipe damage, without the need for excavation.

Move in & Move out Inspections

Move-in and move-out inspections are essential processes for documenting the condition of a rental property, protecting both landlords and tenants during the rental period.

A move-in inspection is conducted before a tenant takes possession of the rental property. The primary goals are to:

  • Document the Property's Condition: This ensures that any existing damage is noted before the tenant moves in, preventing them from being held responsible for pre-existing issues.

Health and Safety Inspections

Health and safety inspections are a critical component of workplace safety management, helping organizations maintain compliance, prevent accidents, and promote a culture of safety among employees. Regular inspections not only protect workers but also contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the organization.

"Aging in Place" Inspections

The purpose of an aging-in-place inspection is to identify hazards or defects in a home that may pose a risk to older adults. Some of the most significant issues are trip, slip, and fall hazards.

Moisture Inspections

Moisture inspections are crucial for identifying and addressing moisture-related problems in buildings. These inspections help prevent damage, save costs, maintain energy efficiency, meet insurance requirements, and provide a safe and comfortable living environment. Key structures to inspect include roofs, walls, ceilings, floors, and foundations. Tools like moisture meters and infrared cameras are essential for detecting hidden moisture problems before they cause visible damage.

Short-Term Rental License Inspection

Checks properties for safety and compliance with city ordnance.

About Denver Go Pro Inspections

Meet your Inspector- Alison

For the past seven years, I have successfully owned and operated a home inspection business, where my role has gone far beyond performing inspections. Every client interaction required educating homeowners, buyers, real estate agents, and investors on the condition of a property while building trust and confidence in my recommendations.

A significant part of my success has come from identifying opportunities to provide ancillary services, including mold testing, indoor air quality testing, radon testing, sewer scope inspections, and other specialty inspections when appropriate. Rather than using high-pressure sales tactics, I focused on educating clients about potential risks and helping them understand the value of additional testing based on the property's condition. This consultative approach consistently strengths long-term relationships with clients and real estate professionals.

Building and maintaining referral relationships has been essential to growing my business. Through clear communication, professionalism, and a commitment to providing honest, knowledgeable guidance, I earned repeat business and referrals from homeowners, agents, and industry partners.

My background has taught me how to simplify complex technical information, identify customer needs, and confidently recommend services that genuinely benefit the client. I believe these skills, combined with my passion for helping people, allow me to make informed decisions, focus on what matters and keep providing a sincere honest service for the entire Colorado Front Range.
